Rebecca’s work communicates universal visual language, inviting viewers into visceral emotional landscapes and imaginative play. Spanning photography, ink painting, and pastel, her practice integrates digital rendering as an extension of the process, opening space for full creative potential.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Rebecca’s background in commercial photography provided a strong technical foundation that continues to support her art practice. Her work repeatedly returns to the inner worlds formed during childhood boredom and isolation, carrying a subtly subversive edge that invites imagination as a liminal passage

Her latest creative rituals reinterpret the iconic Rorschach inkblots through a contemporary lens. Through the repeated folding of paper, she builds symmetrical layers of ink, creating a harmonic rhythm between control and flow. These works function as mirrors, inviting viewers into a space of projection, reflection, and visual odyssey.

"My creative influence draws heavily from my connection to the forces of the natural world, the concept of duality, and the convergence of darkness and light. Photography was my first medium of light I learned to work with to create images that tell stories. Since then, I have shifted towards more tactile mediums that offer me a deeper sense of freedom

For much of my life, being an artist has been a self-guided, solitary journey. I have walked through many periods of dissolving old creative identities and forming new ones. Throughout my transitions, images and symbols have always shared a harmonic resonance. Through my work, I want to create moments of connection, where viewers can find their own meaning and feel linked to the vast collective voice that symbolism can offer. I always hope to open a space where imagination feels available and expansive. For me, that is the most accesible and direct path to freedom"
